Studio for Performing Arts LA’s offers complimentary webinars which cover a selection of subjects and useful information to those starting out in acting or hoping to prosper in Hollywood. In addition to the training and coaching services available with Walid Chaya, the webinars, such as “5 Habits To Book Big Roles,” dig into the reality of working in acting to share insights into how actors can accomplish their goals. Based on common behaviors and habits of other successful actors, the webinar provides the tools required for actors to take control of their careers in a fast-paced industry that can often be overwhelming.
The company also invites industry experts as guest speakers at the events and webinars, most recently a casting director and producer shared their advice on casting and provided feedback on headshots for 25 participants at no cost to participants. Walid and his team meet with up-and-coming actors and share advice on how to jumpstart a Hollywood career post-pandemic, outlining the ways in which the industry has had to adapt and change, and how that might affect auditioning actors.
Studio For Performing Arts LA also provides advanced programs for actors who have the basics covered but want to further their careers by putting their unique special skills to use. In the advanced webinar with attendees, Walid discusses his tips on cultivating relationships with industry professionals, how to pitch oneself as a leading actor, and shares advice on navigating film festivals.
All programs and webinars from the company include a Q&A session with the hosts, for actors to put their questions to Walid and other VIPs, and are open to all performers ages 18 and up, pending availability as space is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis.
