DeKalb County’s Good Neighbors Day Out on East Memorial Drive: Fostering Unity and Revitalization in the Community

United States, 28th Aug 2023, King NewsWire The East Memorial Drive Revitalization Foundation (EMDRF) is thrilled to announce plans for DeKalb County’s Good Neighbors Day Out on East Memorial Drive, a community resource fair and festival event aimed at fostering collaboration, engagement, and revitalization efforts along the Memorial Drive corridor between 285 East and 78 East. The indoor/outdoor event will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11 am to 7 pm at Memorial Square, located at 5479 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain, GA.

DeKalb County’s Good Neighbors Day Out on East Memorial Drive seeks to bring together residents, community leaders, and county officials to celebrate the spirit of unity and showcase the potential for revitalization of the East Memorial Drive corridor. The event will provide a platform for residents to engage with one another, have fun and enjoy family-oriented activities, and take an active role in shaping the future of their community.

Commissioner Steve Bradshaw, a dedicated public servant known for his commitment to improving the quality of life for all DeKalb County residents, will make a special guest appearance along with Georgia State Senator Kim Jackson and many other elected officials and community leaders.

DeKalb County’s Good Neighbors Day Out on East Memorial Drive will feature a wide range of activities and attractions for attendees of all ages. Highlights of the event include live entertainment, an international food village offering delectable culinary delights, vendor booths showcasing local businesses and artisans, children’s activities such as bouncy houses and games, the prestigious “Good Neighbors” award ceremony, a silent auction with exciting prizes, captivating product demonstrations, engaging announcements, beer/wine tents, valuable community resources, and networking opportunities.
