Tempus Resources Ltd (ASX:TMR, TSX-V:TMRR) CEO Jason Bahnsen tells Proactives Andrew Scott that the company has completed the first phase of a rock sampling program at the Elizabeth Gold Project in Southern British Columbia aimed at expanding the mineralisation footprint beyond the current drilling zone.
TMR collected 90 rock samples in three key target areas covering 20 square kilometres, where a 2021 airborne magnetics and radiometric survey had identified geophysical anomalies.
All samples have been dispatched to SGS Laboratories in Vancouver for assaying.
This sampling program has the potential to significantly increase the overall footprint of the gold mineralisation at the Elizabeth Project and follows up on the 2021 airborne geophysics survey targets that identified magnetic lows associated with intrusive bodies prospective to host gold mineralisation, Bahnsen said.
Meanwhile, the planned 4,000-metre resource expansion drill program at Elizabeth has been deferred until after the Elizabeth-Blackdome mineral resource estimates have been completed.
