Homeplete Will Pay For Its Home Buyers Home Warranties When They Buy Their Home Via Its Network Of Real Estate Agents

Homeplete, is offering customers a once-in-a-lifetime deal: free warranties on homes purchased through its network of real estate agents. Coverage lasts for up to a year, says the company, and buyers don’t need to be pre-approved for a mortgage to get started.

Typically, those buying a home have to pay a separate fee for a home warranty. However, Homeplete’s recently-developed model allows many buyers to get a better deal.

To benefit, customers must briefly tell Homeplete about the home they want to buy on its website, through filling out a 10-minute questionnaire or if they prefer, scheduling time to talk with one of Homeplete’s advisors instead. Homebuyers will be connected with a real estate agent in Homeplete’s network who specializes in their prospective home’s location. The free warranty plan goes into effect once the homebuyer completes their home purchase.

“We can help anyone in the U.S. connect with a real estate agent,” says Trey Tatro, founder of Homeplete. “And we will pay for their home warranty so long as clients purchase their home through working with a real estate agent from our network.”

Real estate agents in the network do not work for Homeplete. Instead, Homeplete acts as an intermediary between buyers and agents. The firm’s goal is to create “a network of agents who are amazing at helping their clients, while also helping homebuyers feel better educated about the home buying process.”

“There is no catch,” Tatro affirms. “When customers work with any real estate agent in our network, they’ve agreed to pay us a portion of their commission for connecting them to a client. The agent, and our fee, are paid when [the homebuyer] closes on [their] purchase.”

Homeplete is a newly-launched brand that hopes to educate home buyers about the buying process. It has already set up various educational resources, including its Home Buying Podcast and accompanying Home Buying Workbook, which are free to download from its website.

Homeplete emphasizes that it does not sell home warranties directly. Instead, customers are “free to choose any home warranty plan (up to 1 year) from any home warranty company,” Tatro says.

Ultimately, Homeplete’s goal is to be the first place people think about when buying a home. Its objective is to speed the transition from learning to doing – that is, from considering a home purchase to actually receiving the keys to your new home.
